22-year-old Steele Mahan of Soldotna was arrested Monday night by Alaska State Troopers.
A traffic stop was initiated at 6:00 p.m. Monday night at the Tesoro gas station on the Sterling Highway. A subsequent investigation revealed that Mahan was driving with a suspended license and was on conditions of release from a prior case.
Mahan was arrested and remanded to Wildwood Pre-Trial on charges of Driving While License Suspended and Violating Conditions of Release.
This isn’t Mahan’s first run-in with the law. He was issued a misdemeanor citation for driving with his license suspended on November 1. Weeks later, a warrant was issued and he was arrested for driving with his license suspended on November 27.
