The Soldotna Lady Stars basketball team improved to 13-0 on the regular season and the Kenai Boys, 9-4, and Homer Mariner boys, 10-3, each posted victories in basketball action on Thursday with a little over a week remaining in the peninsula basketball regular season.
SoHi Girls 57 – Kenai 28
The Soldotna girls recorded their 13th-straight victory with a 57-28 win over Kenai at SoHi on Thursday. Nine players scored for the Stars including 11 points for both Josie Sheridan and Morgan Boucschor.
Kenai Boys 50 – SoHi 30
Jordan Kvasnikoff scored 20 points to lead the Kardinals to a 50-30 victory over SoHi. Kenai lead by ten at the half 25-15.
Homer Girls 45 – Nikiski 40
Homer Boys 61 – Nikiski 49
Upcoming Schedule
The Nikiski Bulldogs travel to the Valley to face Redington on Friday and Houston on Saturday for the first basketball against an opponent from outside of the Kenai Peninsula Borough in nearly a year.
