The Northern Lights Conference Basketball Tournament featured four, winner’s bracket semi-final games on Friday at Colony High School including a pairing with #1 seed Colony girls playing the #4 seed SoHi Lady Stars.
Colony 51 – SoHi 28
Colony posted a 12-6 first quarter lead and pulled away from the Lady Stars for a 40-16 halftime lead. Drysta Crosby Schneider lead the SoHi girls with 11 points. Colony’s Indiya Clark scored 21 for the Knights.
SoHi moves to the double-back game on Saturday at 9 a.m. for a rematch against the Kodiak Bears. The winning team will then advance to the 3rd Place Game to face Wasilla and a chance to earn an at-large berth to the ASAA 4A State Basketball Championships.
