The Soldotna Star track and field teams, both girls and boys, raced, threw and jumped to a third place in the overall team standings and topped the podium in three events at the 2021 ASAA Division I Track & Field Championships, hosted at Dimond High School.

Drysta Crosby Schneider opened the competition on Friday with a state championship in the girls triple jump with a state-best 36′ 3″.
Nathaniel Johnson raced to a state championship in the boys 400M and added a second place in the boys 800M.
The SoHi boys topped the field in the 4X100M relay and raced to a second in the 4X400M relay.

The Chugiak boys and West Valley girls earned the Division I team titles.
