Soldotna Alaska State Troopers K-9 Team responded to a report of a disturbance on Wildlife Avenue in Sterling on Thursday morning, July 15th.
Upon arrival investigation revealed Jodie Elizabeth Lundy, (26 YOA) of Anchorage walked into an occupied travel trailer. Lundy was intoxicated and belligerent and refused to leave the travel trailer, according to an online trooper dispatch.
Lundy eventually departed the travel trailer and the female occupant of the travel trailer immediately locked the doors and armed herself with an Axe while remaining on the phone with AST dispatch.
Upon AST arrival to the scene Lundy was located in a separate vehicle identified as a Minnie Winnie. Investigation revealed Lundy broke into the unoccupied Minnie Winnie. Lundy was detained and the owner of the Minnie Winnie responded and arrived to the scene identifying the clothes Lundy was wearing as belonging to the burglary victim’s daughter and wife. Lundy ransacked the RV and caused damage to the inside of the RV.
An APSIN check revealed Lundy has a $1,000.00 outstanding AST-Anchorage warrant for the original charge of vehicle theft 1 and theft 2.
Lundy was arrested for Criminal Mischief 5th Degree, Theft 3rd Degree, Trespassing 2nd Degree, Burglary 1st Degree and the outstanding warrant.
Lundy was transported to Wildwood Pretrial where she was processed and remanded without bail.
