Pilots Sweep ABL Top of the World Series

The champion of the 2021 Alaska Baseball League is the Anchorage Glacier Pilots.

 

The Pilots swept the best of three Top of the World Series championship series against the Anchorage Bucs on Tuesday night at Mulcahy Park in Anchorage, downing the Bucs 9-6 and completing a 2-game sweep of the Bucs in the ABL championship series.

The Pilots finished the regular season with a .500 record (20-20) and knocked-off the Chugiak Eagle River Chinooks in the Top of the World Series first round.  The Anchorage Bucs, 14-26 in the regular season, defeated the #1 seed Mat-Su Miners (30-10) in the first round.
