The sweeping infrastructure bill got a big thumbs-up in the Senate. The measure easily passed on a vote of 69-30. The bipartisan measure covers roughly one-trillion dollars in spending on long-overdue infrastructure upgrades. Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski spoke on the Senate floor Monday evening on the importance of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
Murkowski spoke about the efforts she and her colleagues put into the bill, including provisions of great importance to Alaska, and the historic impacts that the legacy infrastructure will provide.
