The Soldotna Stars hockey team opens play at the Big Lake Lions Classic Hockey Tournament on Thursday, December 2nd with a first-round pairing against the Wasilla Warriors at the Big Lake Lions Recreation Center.
Game time is scheduled for 2 p.m.
The three-day, bracketed tournament features Division I schools: Wasilla, Bartlett and East and Division II schools: SoHi, Palmer, Houston, Monroe and the Colony JV team.
First Round Schedule: December 2nd
11 a.m. Palmer vs Bartlett
2 p.m. SoHi vs Wasilla
5 p.m. Monroe vs Colony JV
