The Kenai Peninsula Borough published a notice of vacancies for its planning commission. Several seats are currently vacant on the Kenai Peninsula Borough Planning Commission along with several city seats across the Borough.
The seats include:
- Soldotna City Seat (Term Expires 07/31/2024)
- Seward City Seat (Term Expires 07/31/2023)
- Seldovia City Seat (Term Expires 07/31/2023)
- District 3 – Nikiski (Term Expires 07/31/2023)
- District 4 – Soldotna (Term Expires 07/31/2022)
- District 8 – Homer (Term Expires 07/31/2024)
For city seats, applications are being sought from those qualified voters who physically reside within the city limits of the cities listed. For Borough single member districts, applications are being sought from those qualified voters who reside in the districts listed.
All applications are submitted online through the Borough’s opportunities webpage here. The deadline to submit an application is 5:00 p.m. on January 21, 2022.
