The Kardinal hockey team recorded a 3-1 Railbelt Conference hockey victory on Saturday downing Juneau 3-1 on the Kenai Ice.

Jacob Begich scored a three-goal, hat trick for the Kardinals, scoring a goal in each period for a 3-1 Kenai victory over Juneau. Kenai lead 3-0 in the third period before allowing a single goal to the Crimson Bears. In goal, Kenai’s Carson Koppes recorded 25 saves on 26 shots and Juneau’s Mason Sooter recorded 17 saves on 20 shots.
