Basketball Conference, Non-Conference & Tournament Games Fill Schedule

Kenai, SoHi and Nikiski all travel for high school basketball with conference and non-conference pairings for Kenai and SoHi and Nikiski participating in the Whaler Invitational in Barrow.

 

Kenai Basketball

The Kardinals opened a three-day Anchorage swing with games at Chugiak on Thursday.

The Kenai girls fell 34-32 to the Mustangs.  Emma Beck scored 20 points for Kenai.

Kenai faces Eagle River on Friday with varsity games scheduled for 6 & 7 :30 p.m. on KSRM 920AM and radiokenai.com

Saturday, Kenai plays Peninsula Conference opponent Grace Christian with 1 & 2:30 p.m. game times on KSRM 920AM and radiokenai.com

 

SoHi @ Anchorage Christian School

The Stars play a two-day series against the ACS Lions with games on Friday and Saturday.  ACS is a member of the Northern Lights Conference, along with the Stars, and games will count on NLC standings.

Friday’s games are schedule for 6 & 7:30 p.m. on KKIS 96.5FM and radiokenai.com

Saturday’s varsity games are set for 3 & 4:30 p.m. on KKIS 96.5FM and radiokenai.com

 

Nikiski @ Whalers Invitational at Barrow High School

The Bulldog girls and boys opened play at the Whalers Invitational on Thursday with the Bulldog girls falling 56-16 to the Colony JV and the Nikiski boys fell 68-31 to West Valley.

Tournament play continues on Friday with Nikiski girls facing Monroe at 3 p.m. and the Nikiski boys playing Thunder Mountain at 4:30 p.m.

Saturday, the Nikiski girls play Barrow at 4 p.m. and the Bulldog boys play Barrow at 4:30 p.m.
