The City of Soldotna is accepting applications for their Mini Grant Program, from now until February 15. The purpose is to recognize the valued contributions being provided through the volunteer efforts of community organizations, and agencies on behalf of the community. It was established to provide funding to a wide range of civic programs, services, and events that contribute to the cultural and economic environment, and/or health, welfare, and overall quality of life for the community and residents.
Shanon Davis with the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce:
“I want to remind everybody that the city of Soldotna has their Mini Grant Application Period open from now until February 15th. You can be considered to get $1,000 mini grant. This is for nonprofit organizations, agencies that do great things on behalf of our community, there’s so many of them out there. It’s not a stringent process. If there’s a little program that you think would benefit the health and welfare of the community, just go on the Soldotna city’s website and apply for that.”
