The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities reports that the Kalifornsky Beach Road and Bridge Access Road intersection is in flash mode due to a reported accident that occurred on February 21st at 13:30 p.m. The traffic accident took out the traffic cabinet and, due to a cabinet shortage, DOT crews state that the intersection might stay like this for a prolonged period of time.
DOT crews advise drivers to review 4-way stop rules. When one or more vehicles reaches an uncontrolled intersection simultaneously, the vehicle on the right has the right of way.
