In the double-back format of the 2022 3A Peninsula Conference Basketball Tournament, Friday night was Championship Night.
The Grace Christian girls defeated the Kenai Kardinal girls 46-33 in the girls championship game. Grace earns the Peninsula Conference championship and an automatic berth to the ASAA 3A State Basketball Championships.
The Kenai girls return to the court on Saturday in the Peninsula Conference 2nd-place game against the Homer Mariners with the winner advancing to the 3A state tournament. Game time schedule for noon Saturday.
