With the help of mid-40’s temperatures and the City of Kenai clearing the soccer facility at KCHS, the Kenai Kardinals will host Grace Christian in Division II soccer bumping the season-opener to the first day of April.
Kenai will face the Grizzlies on Friday, April 1st with the girls varsity on the pitch at 5 p.m. and the boys varsity at 7 p.m.. The teams return on Saturday, April 2nd with games at noon and 2 p.m.
Kenai and Grace play in Division II soccer with the Kardinals in the Peninsula Conference and Grace Christian in the Northern Lights Conference.

2021 ASAA State Soccer Championship-Recap
The Soldotna Star girls and boys won the Peninsula Conference tournament and both earned #1 seeds to the Division II state soccer tournament. The Kenai boys and Homer girls finished as Peninsula Conference runner-up and qualified to the state tournament in 2021.
The Soldotna boys and girls both advanced to state championship games with victories over Southeast Conference teams Juneau and Thunder Mountain.
The SoHi girls fell to Juneau 5-1 in the championship game; the Star boys dropped a 3-2 championship game to Thunder Mountain.
