Kenai and Nikiski traveled for Division II soccer contests against Redington and Grace Christian, all non-conference pairings for the Peninsula Conference Kardinals and Bulldogs.

 

Friday Soccer Results

Kenai Girls 8 – Redington 0

The Kardinal girls dominated play at Redington to record an 8-0 victory over the Northern Lights Conference Huskies.

Kenai held a 3-0 lead at the half with goals from Kate Wisniewski, Rylie Sparks and Alexis Taylor.  Second half goals were scored by Kenai’s Kori Moore (2), Maddie Malone, Cali Holmes, and Valerie Villegas.  Maddie Malone and Tait Cooper combined for the shutout in goal for Kenai.

Kenai Boys 13 – Redington 0

Two goals by Wade James and a pair of goals by Samuel Baisden lead Kenai to a 13-0 shutout of the Huskies.  Single goals were scored by: Gavin Langham, Landen Cialek, Sawyer Vann, Enrique Mercado, Aloshia Cross, Bridger Beck, Koda Poulin and Daniel Sheldon.

Houston Girls 7 – Nikiski 0

Palmer Boys 14 – Nikiski 0

 

Saturday’s Soccer Results

Kenai Girls 1 – Grace Christian 3

The Kenai girls suffered their second loss of the season to the Grace Grizzlies, falling 3-1 in non-conference soccer on Saturday in Anchorage.  Kenai’s lone goal came off the foot of Kate Wisniewski.

Kenai Boys 0 – Grace 3

The Kenai boys were shutout by Grace 3-0 on Saturday.

Redington Girls 4 – Nikiski 0

Nikiski Boys 3 – Redington 3

The Bulldogs scored the game-tying goal in the second half for a 3-3 non-conference tie with the Redington Huskies on Saturday.  Bulldog goals were scored by Ayden Fleming, Alex Anderson, and David Weathers.
