The SoHi soccer teams recorded a pair of victories over Nikiski on Wednesday at Soldotna High School in Peninsula Conference soccer action.
SoHi Girls 9 – Nikiski 0
The Star girls controlled play in the wind on Wednesday recording a 9-0 win over the Bulldog girls.
First half goals were scored by Zayra Poage, Morgan Lemm, Bay Bloom and Jolie Widaman. Second half goals for the Stars included goals by Katharine Bramante, Sadie Lane, Poage, Caylee Uribe-Koivisto and Alex Lee.
SoHi Boys 10 – Nikiski 1
Brock Poe and Maleda Denbrock recorded two goals each in a 10-1 SoHi boys victory over Nikiski. Additional SoHi goals were scored by Dawson Lockwood, Daniel Heath, Silas Larsen and Andrew Arthur. David Weathers scored Nikiski’s lone goal.
