The undefeated Soldotna baseball team improved to 4-0 on the season with an opening round victory at the 2022 Buddy Dale Baseball Tournament in Wasilla on Thursday.
SoHi 15 – Houston 1
The SoHi Stars opened tournament play with a six-inning, run-rule victory over Houston 15-1.
Four SoHi pitchers combined for 10 strikeouts and allowed only two hits. Andrew Pieh went 3 for 5 with two runs and Jacob Belger scored three runs for the SoHi offense.
Kenai 4 – Palmer 15
The Kenai Kardinals allowed 15 runs in Kenai’s tournament opener against Palmer, falling 15-4 to the Moose.
