The SoHi baseball team opened a three-day, road swing through the Valley with a commanding 19-0 victory over Houston on Thursday.
Riley Johnson threw four innings and allowed one hit on the mound for the Stars. Johnson was also 3 for 3 with two RBI at the plate. Evan Appelhans went 2 for 3 with three runs and four RBI and Derrick Jones went 2 for 2 with four RBI.
The Stars improve to 8-1 in Southcentral Conference play with a non-conference game against Wasilla on Friday and a Saturday game against conference opponent Redington.
