The 2022 Northern Lights Conference Softball Championships, featuring two days of double-elimination softball tournament play, opened Friday, May 27th and play continues through Saturday, May 28th with all games played at the Soldotna Fields.
The Kodiak Bears, the #1 seed in the NLC based on the regular season, and the Homer Mariners, #2 seed, each played only one game with first-round byes. Soldotna and Palmer played three games on Friday’s schedule.

Soldotna 17 – Kenai 9 SoHi advanced to play Kodiak
Palmer 12 – Houston 3 Palmer advanced to play Homer
Kodiak 13 – Soldotna 3 Kodiak advances to Saturday winner’s bracket game
Homer 14 – Palmer 6 Homer advances to Saturday winner’s bracket game
Soldotna 15 – Houston 7 Soldotna advances to 9 a.m. Saturday elimination game
Palmer 18 – Kenai 4 Palmer advances to 9 a.m. Saturday elimination game

The NLC champion and 2nd Place team earn automatic berths to the ASAA Division II State Softball Championships scheduled for June 2-4, 2022 @ South Davis Park Complex in Fairbanks.
