Twins Offense Explodes In 22-5 Victory Over Ketchikan

The Post 20 Twins offense scored seven runs in six innings, allowing Ketchikan to have a glimmer of hope with the Twins leading 8-5 in the sixth inning.

Then, the Twins exploded for 14 runs in the top of the seventh inning for a 22-5 victory over Ketchikan in Anchorage on Monday.

The Twins recorded 18 hits for 22 runs against Ketchikan in the first of five games in five days against Ketchikan, Juneau and North Pole hosted in Anchorage.

Dalton Deborski, Hunter Williams, Atticus Gibson, Simon Grenier and John Brinner all recorded multiple hits with Deborski leading the offense with a 4 for 6 day and four runs scored.  On the mound, Gibson tossed five innings allowing four runs.  Williams threw one inning allowing one run and Gabe Smith closed with one, scoreless inning.

 

The Twins face Juneau on Tuesday with a doubleheader beginning with game one at noon on K3 Field in Anchorage.  Both games are league contests.

The Twins will play North Pole on Friday on K4 with both games listed as league contests.
