Oilers Fall 14-6 To Bucs To Open Road Trip

Following four-straight home victories, the Peninsula Oilers opened a seven-game road trip in the Alaska Baseball League with a 14-6 loss to the Anchorage Bucs.  The Oilers and Bucs are positioning for the 3rd and 4th seeds into the ABL Top of the World Series, the culminating event for the 2022 ABL season.

 

Anchorage Bucs 14 – Peninsula Oilers 6

The Anchorage Bucs twice batted through the lineup against Oilers pitching on Wednesday at Mulcahy Park adding up to a 14-6 ABL victory.  The Oilers trailed 8-0 before scoring a run in the sixth, a run in the seventh and four runs in the eighth inning. Trailing 8-6, the Oilers allowed six runs in the bottom of the eighth.
