High School fall sports are fast approaching with the official start of high school football practice set for July 27th and cross country running and football cheer also scheduled for July 27th start dates. Other fall sports, such as volleyball and swim, can begin on August 3rd.
Area high schools have scheduled fall physical dates for athletes. Contact specific programs and schools for further details.
Soldotna High School–July 21st
Odyssey Family Practice is providing SoHi Football players with free sports physicals. The physicals clinic will be held at the SoHi field on Thursday, July 21st from 11-2.
All parents will need to fill out forms. The forms can be filled-out ahead of time and sent in or filled-out at the clinic.

Kenai Central High School–July 23rd
On Saturday, July 23rd Fall Sport Physicals will be available to KCHS athletes beginning in the KCHS commons at 1:00 p.m. Physicals cost $20.00 with funds supporting Kenai athletic programs. KCHS would like to thank Dr. Jared Wallace and Odyssey Family Practice for their help with this event. Physicals schedule is as follows: 1:00-1:45 football physicals; 1:45-2:30 Volleyball, Cross Country and Swim.
On Monday, July 25th Fall Sport Player/Parent Meetings will take place in the KCHS Auditorium beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Football, Volleyball, Swim & Dive, Cross-Country Running and Fall Cheer will be having sport specific meetings after the general athletic informational meeting taking place in the auditorium.
Nikiski High School–July 23rd
On Saturday, July 23rd Fall Sport Physicals will be available to Nikiski athletes beginning at 10:00 a.m. Physicals are free of charge. Nikiski would like to thank Dr. Jared Wallace and Odyssey Family Practice for their help with this event.
