The Peninsula Oilers recorded their fifth-straight victory over the Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks, four at Oilers Park and now a win on the Chinooks home diamond.

Trey Becker led the Oilers’ offensive attack with a 3 for 4 night at the plate which included 4 RBI and two triples. Becker delivered a bases-loaded triple in the second inning to open-up a lead early against the Chinooks. Defensively, the Oilers turned three double plays to support the effort on the mound. Final Score: Oilers 8 – Chinooks 4
The Oilers travel to Palmer to face the Mat-Su Miners at 6 p.m. at Hermann Brothers Field. The Miners are 21-10 in the ABL; the Oilers improve to 11-18 (unofficial).
