The Alaska State Trooper K-9 Team responded on Friday night to a residence on Boulder Park Lane in Soldotna at 11:30 p.m. after several loud noise complaints. AST arrived to the residence and observed a house party and large bonfire in the backyard where loud music could be heard.
Upon further investigation, authorities contacted 48-year-old Kevin Ray Hanson of Soldotna who claimed to be the homeowner.
According to the online state trooper dispatch, Hanson was intoxicated and argumentative during contact and, at one point, being held back and escorted away by friends. Other AST units as well as the Soldotna Police Department and officers from the Kenai Police Department responded to assist with the situation.
Hanson was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and transported to Wildwood Pretrial.
Hours after the arrest around 3:00 a.m. that Saturday morning, a separate complaint reported that the party continued. AST as well as Soldotna and Kenai Police officers responded where the occupants cooperated and agreed to keep the noise down.
