The Soldotna Stars closed-out Northern Lights Conference Volleyball Tournament play on Friday night with a loss to the host Wasilla Warriors 3-1 in the double-elimination volleyball bracket.
The Stars after dropping game one 24-12, tied the match in game two 25-21. The Warriors held-off the Stars 25-20 and 25-19 to close the match.
Colony, the #1 seed, defeated Kodiak on Friday night and advances to Saturday’s championship game to face the winner of Wasilla and Kodiak.
NLC Tournament Update:
Wasilla battled back through the play-back rounds to defeat the #1 seed Colony Knights in the Northern Lights Conference championship game at Wasilla High on Saturday.
SoHi’s Katelyn Morrison and Nicole Dickinson
were selected to the NLC All-Conference 1st Team.
