In the second round of the Clark Cochrane Christmas Classic Basketball Tournament in Ketchikan, the Barrow Whalers scored 43, second half points to run-away from the Nikiski Bulldogs 81-46.
The Bulldogs battled close with the Whalers in the first half, trailing 38-32 at the half. The second half was all Barrow with 21 points in the third quarter and 22 in the fourth quarter. The Bulldogs manage only 14, second half points. Braydon Porter led Nikiski with 11 points and 9 rebounds.
Nikiski closes-out tournament play with a 10:45 a.m. game on Friday at the Clarke Cochrane Christmas Classic.
