Kenai Peninsula residents with an interest or concerns about the overall transportation planning for Southcentral Alaska and in the City of Anchorage, can attend the 2023 Anchorage Transportation Fair set for Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Alaska Airlines Center on the campus of the University of Alaska, Anchorage.
The Anchorage Transportation Fair is designed to inform the public on road, rail, pedestrian, air, and safety projects being planned and designed in the Municipality of Anchorage and projects extending on the Seward and Sterling Highways.
The Anchorage Transportation Fair will also include information on Seward Highway and Sterling Highway, State of Alaska projects including:
- Pavement Preservation: Seward Hwy MP 0-8
- Pavement Preservation: Seward Hwy MP 90-99
- Pavement Preservation: Sterling Hwy MP 169-175
- Seward Hwy Rehabilitation: Trail River to Sterling Wye
- Seward Hwy Road & Bridge Rehabilitation: MP 75-90
- Seward Hwy Rockfall Mitigation
- Seward Hwy: Bird Flats to Rabbit Creek
- Seward Hwy/Alyeska Hwy Intersection Improvements
- Seward Hwy/Sterling Hwy Intersection Improvements
- Sterling Hwy Reconstruction: Sunrise Inn to Skilak Lake Rd
