The Anchorage Bucs lit the bats in the 8th inning to defeat the Peninsula Oilers 6-2 in their first meeting of the season in Anchorage at Mulcahy Stadium.
The Oilers, Bren Wilkinson scored first with a run in the fourth inning and Ben Griffin scored the second run in seventh for a score of 2-0.
Heading into the bottom of the eighth inning the Oilers with the score at 2-0 were not able to hold back the Bucs who came to life with six runs.
The Oilers were not able to score in the top of the ninth and the Bucs take the game. The Oilers now sit at 1-1 in the ABL.
