The Peninsula Oilers came alive late on Saturday to defeat the Chinooks 5-1 in Eagle River and fall to the Bucs on Sunday 5-3 in Anchorage.
The Chinooks scored first in the bottom of the first inning. The bats were quiet until the sixth, when the Oilers scored three runs.
The Oilers would ad one run in the seventh and one in the ninth and defeated the Chinooks 5-1.
Sunday the bats went silent for the Oilers in Anchorage.
The Anchorage scored first with tow runs in the first inning. Then added three more in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings.
In the eighth the Oilers put two runs on the board and added another in the ninth. But, that was the last run from the Oilers who fell to the Bucs 5-3.
