Soldotna Alaska State Troopers along with Central Emergency Services, received a report of a structure fire at 50705 Sterling Highway in Kasilof on Wednesday July 5th at 5:28 p.m.
Upon arrival, it was determined that the structure was a total loss, and the only known resident was unaccounted for.
The initial investigation revealed the residence’s owner was located nearby, seeking shelter under a nearby RV and treated for minor injuries.
The investigation did not reveal criminal or suspicious activity.
