Each week throughout the high school sports 2023-24 competitive seasons, KSRM/ESPN selects a Peninsula Sports Athlete of the Week from each of the central peninsula’s three public high schools.
For the week ending September 26th:

- Representing the Kenai Kardinals is football player Sawyer Vann
- Vann had 2 Interceptions, 5+ tackles vs Barrow.
- Leading the pack for the Nikiski Bulldogs is volleyball player Maggie Grenier
- Grenier is a great leader on and off the court, she is always positive and puts others first, last week she helped her teammates defeat Seward, with 6 kills and 15 assist.
- Selected for the Soldotna Stars is diver Abriella Werner
- Werner is Soldotna’s record holder for 6 Dive format, and was the runner up at the SOHI invite, and 1st place finisher at the Kenai Invite.
- Representing the Kenai Kardinals is football player Sawyer Vann
