In this eye-opening session, Bob Page,  M.Ed., NRP,  CCP, NCEE, CHSE, CHSOS  lays out the incredible findings of a 2022 high-fidelity simulations and high-performance ventilation workshops.

On November 1st, Page will host an event from 1:00-2:00 p.m. to share his demonstration “High-Performance Ventilation – No More Excuses!”

RANGES, The Alaska EMS Research and New Guidance Education Series, is a free-of-charge online EMS CME project that works to help teach emergency care in all areas of the state.

During 2022, Page collected data from over 35 classes with over 600 BLS and ALS Providers. Students performed ventilations on high-fidelity simulators, monitoring rate, volume, and pressures. Page gathered baseline data, and then used state-of-the art feedback devices to show ways to improve ventilations and help students develop muscle memory. After the training, marked skill improvements were recorded in all measured parameters.

RANGES registration ins only required once season. The RANGES 2023-2024 schedule and more information can be found here.

Come see some sweeping recommendations to the “P” back in CPR and deliver better ventilation performance in all your patients.
