The National Weather Service announced late Friday night a winter weather advisory for the Western Kenai Peninsula, calling for as much as 8 inches of snow overnight Saturday night.
Officially, the NWS is predicting 6-8 inches total snow accumulation in Kenai, Soldotna, Homer, and Cooper Landing.
Plan on slippery road conditions.
