Each week throughout the high school sports 2023-24 competitive seasons, KSRM/ESPN selects a Peninsula Sports Athlete of the Week from each of the central peninsula’s three public high schools.
For the week ending February 27th:
- Representing the Kenai Kardinals is cross-country skier Emily Moss
- Moss achieved 1st Division II Freestyle, 1st Division II Classic, and 1st Place Combined Times at the State Invitational.
- Leading the pack for the Nikiski Bulldogs is basketball player Maggie Grenier
- Grenier averaged 10 pts and 7 rebounds against Kenai and Grace JV. She led the team in all offensive and defensive categories.
- Selected for the Soldotna Stars is basketball player Jace O’Reagan

- O’Reagan led the team in scoring in our victory over Houston on Senior Night.
