The 43rd Annual Kenai Peninsula Builders Assoc. Home Show kicks off in Soldotna at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex this weekend. This year’s theme is “Strong Communities Build Beautiful Homes.” Doors and vendor displays will open on Saturday, Apr. 13th, at 10:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m., then again on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Every year, the Home Show connects KPBA members and other vendors with the general public and the Kenai Peninsula community.

Over 100 different vendors from all over Alaska and the Lower 48 will be on-site to showcase their wares and services, focusing on all things home-related. Over the course of the two-day event, more than $5,000 in door prizes, including cash prizes, will be given away.

The Home Show is organized every year by KPBA with the help of sponsors such as Spenard Builder’s Supply and other KPBA members. It is billed as the biggest trade show on the Kenai Peninsula, and after years of COVID-related restrictions, this year’s event returns to its normal, full capacity.

According to the KPBA website, over 3,000 people attend the Home Show annually.

Admission costs are, as always, very manageable for any budget: Adults pay a $5 entry fee, while students and senior citizens pay $4. Active-duty military and children under 12 may attend for free.
