Bucs Defeat Oilers In Anchorage

The Peninsula Oilers lost their second game, 4-3, to the Anchorage Bucs on Monday, June 10.

 

Bucs first baseman Cole Carlson led off the night with a home run in the bottom of the first inning off Oilers pitcher Max Sasaki.

 

The Oilers answered back in the top of the third when Max Roffwarg reached first on an error by Bucs pitcher Jeremiah Arnett. Petey Soto advanced to third, and Bryce Burkey scored unearned and took the score to 3 to 1.

 

In the bottom of the third inning, Bucs Cole Carlon singled.  Riley Hunsaker advanced to second; Christian Powell scored. Then Will Burns flew out to center field, which scored Riley Hunsaker and tied the game at three a piece.

 

Finally, Bucs Adam Enyart singled, scoring Andrew Lamb. This would be the last run scored for either team.
