A mailbox vandal is causing a bit of a stir in Sterling, where Troopers are now asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect.
On Sunday, Oct. 20, Alaska State Troopers began taking several reports of destroyed mailboxes in the Sterling area. The affected areas were around Robinson Loop, Scout Lake Road and several roads in between those areas.
According to the Department of Public Safety dispatch on the vandalism, Troopers suspect the incidents happened in the late night hours of Oct. 19 and the early morning of Oct. 20.
Alaska State Troopers are now asking anyone with information about the incidents that could provide leads for law enforcement to contact them at 262-4453.
