Each week throughout the high school sports 2024-25 competitive seasons, KSRM/ESPN selects a Peninsula Sports Athlete of the Week from each of the central peninsula’s three public high schools.
For the week of March 24th:
- Kenai Kardinals Athlete of the Week is basketball player Miles Metter.
- Miles made the All-Tournament Team at the 2025 ASAA/First National Bank 3A State Championship Tournament.
- Nikiski Bulldogs: No active sports last week.
- Soldotna Stars Athlete of the Week is cheerleader Zoey Hayes.
- This year, Zoey is a new flier and has exceeded expectations and standards at each competition.
Congratulations to all Peninsula Sports Athletes of the Week; each recipient will receive a 6-inch combo meal courtesy of Subway of the Kenai Peninsula.
