5 Seats Expiring On Kenai/Soldotna Fish & Game Advisory Committee

The Kenai/Soldotna Fish and Game Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting and election on Thur., April 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM. It will take place at the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Association, located off Kalifornsky Beach Road in Kenai.

 

The meeting is open to the public; voting will be in person.

 

Agenda items include elections for five expiring seats and four alternates, as well as other Fish and Game-related business. Information on Board proposals can be found on the Alaska Board of Fisheries and Alaska Board of Game websites.

 

Eligible voters must be of voting age, reside in the areas served by the committee (Game Management Units 7, 15, 16, and Cook Inlet – Resurrection Bay fisheries), and be present at the meeting.

 

Advisory committees provide a local forum for discussing fishing and wildlife issues, developing regulatory proposals, and making recommendations to the Alaska Board of Fisheries and the Alaska Board of Game. All meetings are open to the public.
