There is currently a winter weather advisory in affect for the Kenai Peninsula including the City of Kodiak.
Four to nine inches of snow is expected over the next few days along with winds from the North at 20 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.
Snow fall could develop across the peninsula this morning and continue into the early morning hours of Saturday diminishing Saturday night.
In the event that high winds and snow do develop, visibility will be limited, drive with caution or avoid travel when possible.
