A blizzard warning has been issued for the Western Prince William Sound this afternoon, possibly effecting Seward, Girdwood, Whittier, and Moose Pass.
The low pressure system could bring in 5-10 inches of snow along with 20-40 mile per hour winds.
Travel through these areas, including Turnagain Pass, may be difficult due to blowing snow and conditions worsening throughout the afternoon.
