According to ABC News a shooting incident has occurred at Fort Hood in Texas according to federal authorities.
A defense official said there is an “active shooter” on the Army post and said there have been “some casualties.”
FBI and ATF agents are responding to the scene and a Twitter account for the fort announced “shelter in place” has been ordered for all personnel.
Fort Hood was the site of a mass shooting in 2009.
