The City of Seward has scheduled a power outage for Saturday April 5.
Seward Deputy City Clerk Brenda Ballou detailed the outage.
Ballou: “The City of Seward Electric Department has a scheduled power outage for Saturday April 5 from 9 am to 11 am. The areas that are affected start at Sea Lion Ave. which is where the schools are and go all the way north to Grouse Lake and then to the East down Nash Road and Leer Road and portions of Port Avenue around the Harbor are going to be affected.”
Ballou said that the outage is scheduled for two hours however the department doubts it will take that long.
She added that mostly residential areas will be affected and don’t anticipate many if any businesses having problems.
