The Division of Forestry says the Caribou Lake fire that burned 12 acres Friday and Saturday is contained as of yesterday evening.
As we previously reported, the area burned was about 2.5 miles southwest of Caribou Lake and was started by humans however the exact cause is still under investigation.
Crews are still on site “mopping up” to ensure there are no hot spots.
