During that election, voters will decide on whether or not to repeal Senate Bill 21, the Governor’s new oil tax plan. A vote yes on that measure will repeal the tax breaks for oil and energy companies, reverting the law back to ACES, while a vote no will leave the current measures in place.
Voters will also cast their votes on Republican and Democrat candidates for U.S. Senate, U.S. House, Alaskan Governor, Alaskan Lt. Gov, State Senate, and State House.
Tall, Dark and Handsome Show host Duane Bannock and former borough mayor John Williams will host live coverage of the primary election results from 8:00 pm until the results have been announced on KSRM 920 AM.
