Candlelight Vigil for Missing Family at 7pm

Author: KSRM News Desk |

Tonight members of the public are invited to a candlelight vigil to support friends and family of the missing Kenai family of four.

Brandon Jividen, Rebecca Adams, Adams’ two daughters Michelle and Jaracca Hundley, along with the family dog Sparks have been missing since May 23.

Becca’s sister Lannell Adams  appeared on KSRM’s Soundoff via telephone this morning to tell us about the vigil.

Lanell: “Yeah it’s not saying goodbye at all, just like I said before it’s to bring hope, a time to remember the good times, remember the good memories that we’ve had with all of them and to hope for more in the future and a time for everybody to come together and just remember them and share stories about them and definitely pray for them and pray that they’re found soon, and hope for lots and lots of good memories for the future.”

Brandon Jividen’s sister Brandie James in West Virginia told us what it has been like for their family.

James: “Daily it’s been a very difficult time for each of us, we continue to wait for a phone call from my brother, wait to hear that he’s ok, my brother contacted and kept in touch with us very frequently and so emotionally it’s been very trying, we lost my father two years ago and had just been recovering from his death and now that my brother is missing it’s been very very surreal.”

That candlelight vigil will be held at the Kenai New Life Assembly of God starting at 7:00 pm.
