Soldotna High School is sponsoring a 5K Fun Run, as part of the dedication ceremony for the new track and turf field facility at SoHi, on Saturday, August 30th.
Race time is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on the new track; the race will also finish on the track.
The dedication ceremony is set to begin at 1:45 p.m., preceding the SoHi vs Thunder Mountain football game set for 2:00 p.m.
Lost Lake Run Results
Ryan Beckett of Anchorage, who grew up in the Soldotna area, posted the fastest time in the Lost Lake Run. The 16-mile course running from Primrose Campground to Bear Creek. Beckett recorded at time of 1:43:10. Area runner Adam Reiner placed fifth and Kenai’s Mark Blanning placed 20th. Brianna Sullivan posted the fastest women’s time of 1:55:30.
