The Alaska Board of Fisheries scheduled a teleconference for next Wednesday, September 10, in regards to northern pike in a tributary of the Kenai River.
That meeting’s purpose will be to discuss the board’s consideration to provide the Alaska Department of Fish and Game to use the poison rotenone in a tributary of the Kenai River where northern pike have been illegally introduced.
The board will not take oral public testimony at this meeting.
The meeting will be broadcast live on the Board of Fisheries website and a listen-only teleconference will be held at the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Association off of K-Beach Road.
