The Coast Guard and the Alaska State Troopers have suspended the search for the missing Kasilof man Leif Osmar.
Petty Officer Diana Honings said the decision was a hard one to make.
Honings: “He was reported missing yesterday and an extensive search was conducted throughout the night into this afternoon and we have suspended the search pending development of new information.”
Earlier today we reported that Osmar’s kayak and lifejacket were found however no one was found with it.
